Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Canyon Code, Inc. (“Canyon Code”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our software and internal financial applications. We are committed to handling data responsibly and only for the purposes described here.
Information we access
Our internal financial tools connect to accounting systems, including Intuit QuickBooks Online, only after an authorized administrator grants access through Intuit's official OAuth authorization flow. Through that connection we may read financial reports and records such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, transactions, and company information. We request read-only access and do not create, modify, or delete records in connected accounting systems.
How we use the information
Information accessed from QuickBooks Online is used solely to compute and display financial metrics (such as cash position, burn, runway, and expense breakdowns) to authorized Canyon Code personnel. We do not sell this information, share it with third parties for their own use, or use it for advertising.
Storage, security, and retention
Access credentials (such as OAuth tokens) and any cached financial data are stored on systems controlled by Canyon Code and are protected using industry-standard measures, including transport encryption and restricted access. Cached data is retained only as long as needed to provide our internal reporting and is refreshed or overwritten on a regular schedule. You may request deletion of stored data or revoke access at any time.
Revoking access
An administrator may disconnect Canyon Code from QuickBooks Online at any time through the Intuit account settings or by contacting us. Once access is revoked, we stop retrieving new data.
